2024 SPYDER MUSTER NEWS: Bathurst NSW 6th – 8th September 24

Finally, after a year of negotiating, the Bathurst City Council have advised us that the Mt Panorama Circuit is either Blocked out or booked for most of the month of September, all of October and November.

Forcing us to move the Spyder Muster 2024 to the 6th – 8th September 2024.

Rydges Hotel Mt Panorama is now open for accommodation booking, please go to https://www.rydges.com/private-page/spyder-muster-bathurst or call them on 02 6338 1888 and advise them you want to make a Spyder Muster 2024 accommodation booking.

All other accommodation is at your choice of location. There are numerous Motels and other accommodation options throughout the township of Bathurst.

ALSO EXCITING NEWS: For anyone that intends camping or bringing their Motor Home, the Camp ground Paddock behind the racing circuit Pitt area will be available for a nominal cost of $50 for the 3 DAY Event (Friday, Saturday Sunday nights).

At the bottom of this notice are camp site booking details.

Just $50 for 3 days camping is great value. Arrive Friday and out Monday morning.

All camping sites have Power and water supplied and the amities block will be open. Also the Foot Bridge linking the Rydges hotel to the camp site paddock will be open for easy access to the event activities at the Rydges Hotel.

The pitt lane will be the Location for the Show N Shine event, and the assembly area for the Parade laps of the racing circuit. Saturday Lunch will be provided in the Function rooms above the Pitt area.

Registration for the Spyder Muster 2024 will be opening mid January 2024 and it’s anticipated that the registration cost will be $150.00 per person.

Also available in mid January for those wishing to use the Camping facilities in the Pitt Paddock, there will be a separate Camping Registration form and payment details.

Access to the Camp Ground Paddock will only be available to those that register for the Spyder Muster 2024 event.

Autumn Leaf Ride

Autumn Ride through Northern NSW – 26-29 April 2024

This is a 4-day ride with overnights in Nambucca heads, Walcha, and Stanthorpe. If you want to come, PLEASE BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION EARLY as this is a popular time of year in Nth NSW due to the Autumn leaves. It can get very cold at that time of year, so pack appropriate gear. Individuals are to book their own accommodation.

Day 1: Leaving at 0830 from BP Truckstop, Cnr Pacific Hwy &, Stapylton Jacobs Well Rd, Stapylton QLD 4207. Travelling down the Pacific Hwy with an overnight at Nambucca heads. Accommodation option of Motel Miramar, 1 Nelson St, Nambucca Heads NSW 2448 or accommodation of your choosing. Dinner at Nambucca Heads RSL, which is next door to the Miramar.

Day 2: Leave Nambucca heads after breakfast at Nambucca Boatshed & Café. Leaving from the café at 0830. Down the pacific and then turn right to Wauchope. A coffee at Wauchope and then up through one of the best Motorcycle roads in Australia, the Oxley highway. Lunch at Gingers Creek, and then overnight at Walcha. Accommodation needs to be booked early as it is light on in Walcha. Best option is Walcha Motel, 31W Fitzroy St, Walcha NSW 2354. Dinner at the Aspley Arms (has a fire place).

Day 3: Breakfast at Walcha Royal café, 26e Fitzroy Street Walcha, New South Wales 2354, at 0700, to be on the road at 0800. Visit the historic Gostwyck Church with all of its splendour during the Autumn leaves and colours. Overnight at Stannum Lodge Motor Inn, 12 Wallangarra Rd, Stanthorpe QLD 4380. Dinner at the Stanthorpe RSL.

Day 4: After a breakfast venue of your choice, up the New England and then thru Pilton and the ride completes at the Floating Café, 2 Harris St, Grantham QLD 4347. The ride will end at the Floating Café, and people can make their own way home from there.

Ride to Remember - Grampians

To register for the Ride to Remeber, go to this site “Register”. Spyder Buddies will be holding a Ride To The Event. Details Below. Link to Spyder Buddies Event

David & Linda will be meeting at the Bakery in Yarra Glen at 7:45 - leaving at 8am.
Stopping in Diamond Creek, for a leg stretch and toilet break. - 10mins
8:40am off to Ballarat.

The group will be meeting up with Tam McQuinlan and his ride group at the beechworth Bakery in Ballarat at 12:30pm for lunch.
We will be leaving Ballarat at 1:30pm.

Stopping for fuel in Beaufort.

Arriving in Ararat around 3pm.

PLEASE NOTE: if you have purchased a SpyderBuddies Polo shirt can you make sure to pack it as we want to get a group photo on the Sunday morning before the ride, please. Thanks to Ross Missen for suggesting this idea.
